Our love story began the modern way - with a swipe.

We met on Tinder, in 2019—Maki, a Venezuelan photographer with a passion for food, and Raffaele, an Italian philosopher with an insatiable love for books. A few dates later, it became clear we’d stumbled onto something special.

Then came the pandemic, and after just a couple of months of dating, we made the bold choice to move in together. What could have been a risky move turned out to be the best decision of our lives. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable, sharing laughs, adventures, and countless movie nights.

Our relationship has been a delightful blend of cultures. Raffaele not only learned Spanish to connect with Maki’s family, but he also discovered a deep love for arepas—which are now his favorite breakfast. On the flip side, Maki has embraced Raffaele’s overflowing library of books, though superhero movies remain firmly off her list.

We’ve spent the past few years traveling the world together and creating memories that are as colorful and unique as the places we’ve explored. But through it all, Milan has remained our love city. It’s where we met, built our life together, and continue to dream about what’s next.
